Serrena joined our team in October of 2014. She initially worked as a veterinary surgical and treatment nurse at a specialty/emergency hospital. Her responsibilities included several aspects of patient care (medications, venipuncture and IV access, radiology, lab services), surgical patient preparation, intraoperative management, and post-operative recovery. She was then promoted to an administrative position.

Lisa Bolanda started her career of caring for animals in 1992 by working with the Humane Society of Broward County. She worked with the foster care program nursing orphaned kittens and puppies.
