Lisa Bolanda started her career of caring for animals in 1992 by working with the Humane Society of Broward County. She worked with the foster care program nursing orphaned kittens and puppies. Four years later, she moved on to the clinic area of the facility to become a veterinary technician. After moving to Stuart, she started working with Stuart Sound Animal Hospital in February of 1998. Lisa has worked in every area of the hospital and is now the hospital’s office manager. She has cats – Rey, Chester, Ester, and Walter, and two dogs. Penny, her very active Frenchston keeps them all in line and Peanut, her shadow. She is also the proud mom of her son, Joey, and daughter, Alyssa. These two keep her very busy with dance, baseball, and Girl Scouts.
