Dr. Chris Steers
Veterinarian
Dr. Chris Steers graduated magna cum laude from Mercer University with a Bachelor of Science degree in animal biology. He then went on to become an honors graduate from the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Steers practiced for nine years in Gainesville at a large AAHA-certified hospital prior to moving to Stuart and opening this clinic in 1997.
Dr. Steers has been married to his wife, Cheryl Steers, over four decades. They have two children whom they are proud of – Shawn, who is an engineer, and Shelbi, an occupational therapist, both graduated from UF. At home, Dr. Steers has a dog named Molly and a cat named Zorro. At work, he has his trusty cat, Bandit.

Dr. Jackie Snow
Veterinarian
Dr. Jackie Snow grew up in the small city of Paducah, Kentucky. She received her Bachelors of Science degree from Western Kentucky University before graduating with her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Auburn University—completing a preceptorship at Stuart Sound Animal Hospital during veterinary school.
Her professional interests include small animal surgery and ophthalmology. When she is not taking care of animals, she enjoys going to the beach, boating, eating seafood, and frequenting the downtown Stuart area with her perfect pup, Wally. Dr. Snow is a member of the Hobe Sound Chamber of Commerce and the Young Professionals of Martin County.

Dr. Patricia Pike
Veterinarian
Dr. Patricia Pike was born and raised in Bogota, the capital city of Colombia. She first received her Medico Veterinario Zootecnista (Doctor of Veterinary Medicine) at La Salle University, Bogota. After finishing her education, Dr. Pike moved to West Palm Beach, Florida with her family. Upon arrival to the US, she immediately began studying English while working towards earning her American doctorate. With great determination, Dr. Pike gained acceptance to Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana where she earned her degree. Since then, Dr. Pike has been practicing small animal medicine with a special interest in internal medicine and soft tissue surgery. She attributes her success to her passion, perseverance, and continued education
Dr. Pike is married with two daughters, and enjoys spending time with her family camping, hiking, riding ATVs, and doing Zumba.

Dr. Allison Murawski
Veterinarian
Dr. Allison Murawski grew up in Michigan and earned her undergraduate degree from Grand Valley State University. She then moved to Illinois and obtained her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Illinois. Upon graduation, she completed a one-year internship in small animal medicine at Jupiter MedVet, followed by a one-year specialty internship in aquatic medicine at the University of Florida.
During her training, Dr. Murawski has worked with many different species, including the Florida manatee, and has gained experience in a multitude of different specialties including emergency medicine, surgery, ophthalmology, neurology, cardiology, internal medicine, and integrative medicine. Her particular interests include clinical pathology and ophthalmology. She is also currently working on publishing research about a bottlenose dolphin diagnosed with the highly pathogenic avian influenza virus.
While away from the clinic, Dr. Murawski loves traveling and going to the beach. She also enjoys spending time with her family, including her three-year-old rabbit and 17-year-old conure. Dr. Murawski is looking forward to meeting and treating your pets at Stuart Sound Animal Hospital!

Dr. Angela Fusco
Veterinarian
Dr. Angela Fusco, a Miami native, discovered her passion for veterinary medicine at an early age while spending countless hours at her father’s veterinary practice. Surrounded by animals and immersed in the world of medicine, she developed a deep appreciation for both, ultimately leading her to pursue a career in veterinary medicine.
As a dedicated general practitioner, Dr. Fusco finds joy in all aspects of veterinary care but holds particular interests in soft tissue surgery, internal medicine, nutrition, and clinical pathology. She is deeply committed to strengthening the human-animal bond and approaches each patient with integrity, compassion, and a dedication to providing the highest standard of care.
